Northstar Docs — Developer Documentation Landing Page Concept
An independent high-fidelity marketing-page concept for a developer documentation platform with API references, SDK guides, and AI-powered search.
Independent speculative concept — not commissioned client work. Northstar Docs is a fictional product created to demonstrate a proposed design direction for a modern developer-documentation platform. It is not affiliated with Peekup, Mintlify, or any other documentation company.
This concept explores how a technical product can communicate depth without overwhelming first-time visitors. The page moves from a concise value proposition to an immediately legible product preview, then reinforces the story with compact benefits for open standards, security, and AI-assisted discovery.

Design intent
- Make the primary value proposition understandable in one scan
- Give “explore” and “API reference” visitors distinct conversion paths
- Show the product in context instead of relying on abstract feature claims
- Combine navigation, API content, code, and AI search in one coherent workspace
- Keep the desktop composition ready for a responsive mobile adaptation
Visual system
- Deep ink and cobalt establish a technical, trustworthy foundation
- Warm neutral surfaces reduce visual fatigue in documentation-heavy layouts
- Lavender depth cues and mint status accents separate utility from hierarchy
- High contrast, generous spacing, and consistent component rhythm keep the interface developer-friendly
- Abstract geometric marks avoid borrowing an existing company’s logo system
Proposed delivery
For a live client project, this direction can be developed into responsive desktop and mobile screens, reusable Figma components, interaction states, a compact design system, and developer-ready handoff specifications. The scope can also include messaging refinement, product screenshots, and two revision rounds after the initial wireframe is approved.
